11/02/2007- Analytik Jena-subsidiary have got the rights of sale from rPeptide
Leipzig, November 02, 2007 - With effect from 11/02/2007 the AJ Roboscreen GmbH, a subsidiary company of Analytik Jena Co., have got the rights of sale for the whole product portfolio from rPeptide, Bogart USA, to distribute their products in Germany/Europe. The US biotechnology company rPeptide is a market leader in providing diagnostic tools for Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease research. rPeptide has a proprietary platform vector technology that enables the expression of historically difficult peptides/proteins as soluble peptides/proteins in E. coli.
"The products of both companies complement one another", said Dr. Awad A. Osman, CSO from AJ Roboscreen. With conclusion of the contract the AJ Roboscreen offers now more than 200 top-class products in the range of early diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases like prion diseases, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. Additional own products are in preparation.
